Synopsis

Based on the videogame of the same name, the story follows a breakaway tribe of apes that finds refuge within the Rocky Mountains to escape the violent war between apes and humans. However, as winter looms on the horizon and with food and water running out, the apes are forced to descend to a human-owned valley, and the two species will come face to face in an epic struggle that will decide their fates.

As the oldest son of Khan, Tola is the leader of the tribe's hunting group and the heir to his father's throne. He is an impulsive individual who has a deep-seated hatred for humanity due to witnessing human soldiers kill his mother and believes that only strong and ruthless apes can stand against humans.
