Synopsis

Based on the 2017 videogame of the same name, a small group of apes takes refuge in the Rocky Mountains to escape the catastrophic war between apes and humans; however, when food and water become scarce as winter approaches, the group is forced to flee to the valley below where they encounter a group of humans who are also struggling to survive, leaving the fate of both species hanging in the balance.

The first-born child of Khan, Tola is an evolved chimpanzee who is first in line for tribe leadership status and leads the hunting troop, with his brothers Bryn and Juno and his second-in-command Brutus at his side. He is an impulsive individual who is ready to act immediately and has a deep-seated hatred for humanity, having watched humans kill his mother.
