Description of Mister Geppo ("Collodi"):

aka Geppetto of an unknown world where his Pinocchio and story more functions alot like Mary Shelley's Frankenstein in away and being the creator of Nokio a mysterious creature who was created by Geppo in a drunken stupor and rage after the lose of not only his wife but also his son and Nokio in his eyes was his attempt of trying to force his wooden son to be the perfect replacement for the one he already lost. Geppo is also a bit reclusive and drunk.

  • axiomman the character of Mr Geppo mainly the casting choice of RDJ was based off a cancelled Tim Burton Pinocchio movie that was in development before it got scrapped and Robert Downey Jr was initially attached the project as Geppetto

    • axiomman   @axiomman also inspired by both Del Toro's Geppetto and Victor Frankenstein as well the name Geppo was lifted from the 2009 miniseries starring Bob Hoskins as Geppetto

    • axiomman   @axiomman the character of Geppo from the miniseries was an in universe fictionalised character that Carlo Collodi met which was the in universe fictionalised inspiration for Geppetto

  • axiomman a moment might involve Del Toro Geppetto talking to Geppo and as well relating to him since they did lost their sons to very similar circumstances and the fact they tried make Pinocchio live up to their previous sons perfection and initially instead of loving them as they are
