Synopsis

After a difficult struggle with fertility, Toni Hopkins (Tiny Fey)'s dreams of motherhood come true with the arrival of a mysterious baby boy. Chris (Jaeden Lieberher) appears to be everything Toni and her husband, Kevin (Gerard Butler), ever wanted -- bright, talented and curious about the world. But as Chris nears puberty, powerful darkness manifests within him, and Toni becomes consumed by terrible doubts about her son. Once Chris begins to act on his twisted urges, those closest to him find themselves in grave danger.

Description of Sheriff Diggs:

Sheriff Diggs is a minor character in the 2015 horror film Phoenix. While Chris’ adoptive mother Toni Hopkins tries to defeat her son she calls on Diggs who is painfully killed by the murderous alien after being killed instantly when the murderous boy super speed crashed into him while trying to rescue Toni a few minutes after her husband Kevin was brutally murdered by the boy with heat vision shooting through his head. He was played by Samuel L. Jackson.
