Synopsis

Percy Jackson & the Olympians is a five-book series of adventure and mythological fiction. The first book, The Lightning Thief, was released in 2005, followed by The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth, and its final book, The Last Olympian in 2009. It is narrated by the title character, Percy Jackson, a demigod son of Poseidon. It is also the first book series in the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles.

Description of Mrs. Chase (Annabeth’s stepmom ):

Mrs. Chase is the stepmother of Annabeth and the mother of her half brothers. She seemed nice until all the monster attacks that were due to Annabeth being a demigod. She blamed her for it all, which made Annabeth run away from her home. In The Titan’s Curse she tells Percy that Annabeth talks about him a lot and tells him to remind her that she still has a home with her; which makes the audience realize she has good in her.
