Description of Blackjack:

Blackjack is a rare pure black Pegasus (winged horse) that only Percy can talk to because of his powers inherited from Poseidon. He also talks colloquially and refers to Percy as “boss” and helps him here and there by giving him rides. He owes his life to Percy after Percy saved him from Luke’s forces. He is also a form of comic relief.
