Tyson is one of the many cyclops children of Poseidon. When we first meet him in Sea of Monsters, he’s portrayed as angelic and highly autistic little kid in an adult’s body. And even by cyclop standards he’d be very young. Also in Sea of Monsters he saves Percy’s life on many occasions, and forms a bond with Rainbow the hippocampus. In The Battle of The Labyrinth he joins Percy and the others to stop Luke and leads Grover to Pan. Then in The Last Olympian he and Poseidon lead an army of cyclopses against Typhon and win. Then he begins a relationship with Ella the harpy.
