Description of Demeter:

Demeter is the goddess of agriculture and the mother of Persephone & Meg. She tried to get Persephone back from the underworld then began a crusade where tons of people died. In The Last Olympian we see her embarrass Persephone when she’s visiting her in the underworld ironically in the summer. She like the other gods helps Percy fight Kronos and his forces and wins.
