Zeus is the king of Olympus and the youngest of the first generation of gods; and the father to a majority of the second generation of gods. When we first meet him in The Lightning Thief he’s described as being handsome and scary at once. He makes his hatred for Percy well known, but he at least has a soft spot for his daughter Thalia Grace. In The Last Olympian he puts up a good fight against Kronos but needs help from Poseidon & Tyson, and finally gives Percy the attention he deserves.
