Synopsis

Governess and Mistress Anna Baker (Anna Popplewell) who became best friends with Pearl, the Black Great Dane and a loyal companion to Baker, after she adopted him years ago during the late Victorian era in the 19th century England. Baker decides to keep Pearl as her beloved black pooch, heartwarming and adventurous tale for all ages about Anna Baker, a young gentle woman with her best friend Pearl, a giant black great dane dog who attempts to reconnect with her.
