Los Angeles, March 2020: Luke Saito is a young Japanese-American actor who, when the anti-Asian hysteria driven by Covid-19 strikes the country, can't find a job anymore and even his closest non-Asian friends fear to be with him. Suddenly, a white American independent director hires Luke to play the Patient Zero in a movie about the spreading of Covid titled "Patient Zero"...
