Ellis and Georgia meet one summer when Georgia's family rents a house in Ellis' town. They share a love for singing (not the main plot) and end up in a karaoke contest at the local diner, the outcome remains undecided for now. During their practice time Ellis develops a crush on Georgia, but Georgia seems to not reciprocate those feelings. But basically Ellis is lesbian and Georgia is kinda exploring herself, for instance at the karaoke contest Ellis finds Georgia kissing their mutual friend Ezra and her heart is broken. SPOILER WARNING FOR POSSIBLE OUTCOME Through it all Georgia realizes that she didn't have feelings for Ezra, but instead for Ellis.
