Synopsis

The true story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, an American physicist who rose to fame for leading the invention of the world's first atomic bomb in the Manhattan Project during World War II, as well as his ensuing guilt and remorse over the bomb's devastating effects on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and his controversial government security clearance hearing over his questionable background, actions, and associations.
