Quentin is one of the seven siblings of Harvey James Scott, the husband of Claire Evans, and the adoptive father of Laken Evans. Free spirited and artistic, he found himself at a crossroads in his life after leaving his wife Dina Fletcher after discovering that she had become like a stranger to him. In need of direction, he returned to his hometown of Tree Hill to spend time with Harvey and his family desperate for an indication as to what he should do with his life. After Dina arrived in Tree Hill to try and reconcile with him, he asked her for a divorce and started to rely on Natalie's agent, Claire Evans, for support. They have since entered a relationship after Claire overcame her worry that she would forget her late husband Sam. Quentin and Claire later had to deal with her Sam lookalike stalker and his attempt on both of their lives but they became a stronger couple and people through it. Eventually, Quentin married Claire and adopted her daughter Laken.
