Fan Casting Martha "Mouth" McFadden in One Tree Hill (2003-2012 Genderswap)

Introduced as a close friend of Lucy Scott before she joined the Tree Hill Ravens cheerleading squad, she gradually became more involved in the lives of other characters, namely Natalie Scott and Brad Davis. During high school, she and Jenny Edwards acted as pseudo-sportscasters for basketball games on the River Court. After Lucy was enlisted by Coach Whitey Durham for varsity cheerleading, however, Mouth and Jenny grew apart as Mouth grew closer to the popular kids at school. The loss of her friendship with Jenny would have a lasting impact on her after Jenny performed a school shooting during the third season. Refusing to allow people to see Jenny as a monster, Mouth constantly reminded everyone of the person Jenny was before the shooting and was validated after it was revealed Diane Scott murdered Kate Scott during the shooting and not Jenny. Even years later, Mouth continued to respect Jenny's memory. Throughout the series, Mouth was seen as a sweet girl who befriended many of the boys on the show, namely Harvey James Scott, Brad Davis, Eric Marsh, Sheldon Simon, and Ralph Gatina. Among those, all but Harvey entertained the idea of dating her, with Eric and Shelldon doing so during seasons two and four, respectively, and Ralph exploring the possibility around the time of their graduation. In her early twenties, however, Mouth found love with Milton Huxtable, Brad's personal assistant who accompanied him from New York after he moved back to Tree Hill after the series' four-year time jump in season five. While their relationship experienced its ups and downs, Mouth and Milton started their own morning talk show and eventually married sometime during the final time jump in the series finale, with Mouth becoming pregnant with their child.
