A musician from Tree Hill, North Carolina, Christy Keller was the first to take notice of Harvey James Scott's musical talent and helped him at the start of his career. Due to her arrogance and her knack for interfering in the personal lives of the main characters, she was not well-liked by many of his peers, particularly Natalie Scott, Lucy Scott, and Brad Davis. He first caused interference in Natalie and Harvey's marriage and later, Brad and Lucy's relationship when she slept with Brad. She later left Tree Hill to go on tour, running into the group when she passed through Honey Grove, Texas. After being gone for 8 years, she returned to Tree Hill to help Harvey with Red Bedroom Records and assisted Diane Scott and Julia Baker in their mission to rescue Natalie.
