At 100 meters long, Haryu is a feathered, serpentine dragon who was genetically engineered by the ancient, advanced society of Zealandia long ago. Being a Guardian Kaiju, she still protects what was once Zelandia today, and would ally with Big Boy and Tusker later in the film. Her powers include flying with powerful speed, rays of light, a laser-like energy weapon and telepathy. She was discovered in 1935 by Fathom.
