Unknowingly connected by a past of conflict and banishment, in the years of Odette's aging, she can never shake the feeling that she's been followed all her life. Somewhere a looming figure, a shadow, sits around every corner, waiting for the opportune moment to close in on her, and she isn't the only one who can sense it.
