When the galaxy is terrorized by savage and malevolent superhuman aliens called the Axi-Tun who have captured Captain Marvel and the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Nova Corps find themselves on an adventurous intergalactic mission which forces the human recruits to confront their demons and greatest fears and become the heroes they were chosen to be especially when it seems that they and the Corps are pawns in something far more sinister.
