somewhere in the middle of the ocean ariel and eric have been lovers for years, they met when his neighbour took in a young girl at age four who was shaken up, lost and had no parents. no one knew where she had come from but they cared for her as if she was their own. eric and ariel became ride or die friends quickly. he brought her out of shell, taught her how to ride a bike and would fight the other kids when they would pick on her in the small seaside town where they lived. there was a love that ran deep as they grew up they were the best of friends never quite admitting that they loved one another. when eric got into trouble for fighting going awry he got sent away - working on a trawling boat and him and ariel got separated.
