Lloyd Garmadon is a teenager who lives with his mother and has no idea who his father was. He goes to a high school called Ninjago high where he is picked on by his former friends Kai and Cole. He called the police on them when they were planning something horrible and they decide to cut him out of the friend group. He becomes friends with a kid named Jay, the school shut out and nerd. One day Lloyd is greeted by someone who gives him an invation to his Uncle Wu's monestary and so are Kai, Cole, Jay and Nya (Kai's sister).
