While the rest of the heroes are all busy with the ongoing Clone War, the ninja try to focus on protecting their home planet Ninjago. Two former enemies of Wu and Garmadon, Acronix and Krux, or the Time Twins, return to seek their vengeance on them. With Wu down and Garmadon trying to find Acronix on his own, the rest of the ninja follow Lloyd's lead and fight the Vermillion Army Releases after The Clone Wars: The Battle of Yavin 4 and before Spider-Man 4: Night of the Lizard
