Whereas April is laser-focused on her studies to the point where it takes a toll on her mental health, Irma is a bubbly, fun-loving, cheerleading, boy-crazy party girl who has tried everything to help her roomie loosen up and have fun. Ever since the two were paired up together, Irma has always been there for April when she needed it, even when she discovered that her bestie had been hanging out with giant turtle men. Irma quickly became fast friends with Michelangelo because of their similar personalities. Eventually, Irma begged Splinter to train her as a kunoichi, combining her cheerleading skills with a pair of tonfa.
