Casey Jones’s parents, a retired police officer and a chef respectively. Casey idolized his father back when Arnold was a respected member of the force, but Arnold unfortunately was the victim of racism by a group of officers led by Frank Corbin and Richard Miller. During one case where Arnold led the force against the Purple Dragons, he was taken by surprise and was beaten to near death by Corbin and his posse, who were on the Purple Dragons’ payroll. Arnold was forced to retire due to his injuries as a result, forcing Evelyn to take care of him, crushing Casey’s dreams of becoming a police officer like his father, and scarring their daughter Shadow for life.
