Need for Speed 6 picks up shortly after the events of the previous film. Alex Turner along with his sister Jane Turner and her son James are living in hiding, trying to leave their past behind. Alex's wife, Mia Ramirez presumed dead in the previous installment, suddenly resurfaces, suffering from amnesia and unaware of her past life. Her return sparks chain of events that forces Alex back into the dangerous world of high-stakes street racing.
