Nicolas Cage as Dwayne Powers, Mattie's current and Rick's former talent agent. It turns out, he's massively in debt, and Mattie's been giving him loans. Also, it turns out, he's the one who's been making the death threats against Rick, while disguised as a stagehand named Owen W. Spayder. He was jealous of Rick getting the superstar treatment, and he was also upset that nobody gave him the same treatment while he was still an actor.
