Already as an apprentice, Gaston managed to create a magical creature in the form of a talking head and immediately the two became good friends. Dareon the Wise is a magical being – a so-called anthropomorph. Dareon lives on applause because he can't eat any other food - he has no stomach! The times he has managed to eat solid food, the consequences have been devastating. He can start rhyming, singing or sounding like a fire alarm. Most of the time Dareon sleeps locked in his box but is sometimes let out to tell the future and give good advice. He gets angry and upset very easily. Probably because he is so incredibly hungry most of the time.
