Synopsis

The My Lai massacre was a war crime committed by the United States Army on March 16, 1968. Between 347 and 504 unarmed civilians (old men, women, children, and infants) were murdered by US soldiers. It was the largest publicized massacre of civilians by US forces in the 20th century.

Description of Glenn Andreotta:

Glenn Urban Andreotta (1947–1968) was an American helicopter crew chief in the Vietnam War noted for being one of three men who intervened in the Mỹ Lai massacre, in which 504 unarmed children, women and men were murdered. He would be killed in action less than three weeks later.
