As they delve deeper, they are confronted with an even greater threat: the revival of Lord Ruthven, an ancient and malevolent vampire whose cruelty was so extreme that he was deemed too dangerous to ever be resurrected. Now returned from his centuries-old slumber, Ruthven seeks revenge against those he blames for his downfall.
