“Even a low-class warrior can surpass an elite, with enough hard work.” Much like a certain Last Son of Krypton, an infant Saiyan named Kakarot was sent away from his doomed home planet of Vegeta and landed on Earth, where he was found by a kindly old man who raised him as his grandson. As Goku grew older, fought many strong opponents, defended the Earth multiple times, became a family man, and learned of his extraterrestrial roots, his drive to get stronger with every new challenge he came across never wavers. When the threat of the Nothing was on the horizon, Goku leaped at the chance to combat this new threat from the word go.
