A story informed by social criticism and a subversive attack on weird occurrences and the abuse of the vulnerable. Haunted by the present and nightmares of her past, Karmen is soon shocked by the news involving her father's sexual involvement with her best friend's father. Judah offers her a new level of drugs, making her feel she has been missing out her whole life, and leaves her spiraling and craving for more, destroying and doing unspeakable things without a blink. These seemingly separate incidents prove to be tied in a shadowy web of complicity involving people dear to Karmen; those she can't bear to lose. Depressed and emotionally a wreck, still torn over her undefined relationship with Judah, who has stoked her soft spot by leaving her wanting after their first sex. Karmen isn't quite compelled about her stand with Judah; her trademark sexual interludes are unable to overcome her gratuitousness.
