Tate Young is a globally famous musician making his major movie debut. He's charismatic, funny, and surprisingly intelligent. The studio hired him partly because his enormous fanbase could turn the franchise into an even bigger cultural phenomenon. Tate initially seems completely detached from the murder investigation. But Bradley discovers Tate had a private conversation with Leroy shortly before the murder. Tate refuses to explain what they discussed.
