Bradley Gunn is an old-school texan oil tycoon and veteran private detective with an old-fashioned approach to solving crimes. He's observant, persistent, and almost annoyingly calm when everyone else is panicking. Gunn isn't particularly impressed by Hollywood celebrities and treats the entire production like one enormous crime scene. He has a habit of asking seemingly stupid questions that eventually turn out to be extremely important. His greatest advantage is that he understands people better than he understands Hollywood. When Leroy Charlton is murdered, Gunn becomes determined to solve the case even when the studio wants him to quietly disappear.
