Mr. Video Game himself is the first character on the roster. Initially introduced in the arcade game Donkey Kong as "Jumpman", he would go on to become Nintendo's premeire star following the success of Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System. While often on adventures rescuing Princess Peach from the enigmatic Koopa King Bowser, he also finds time for karting, parties, tennis and other sports alongside his brother Luigi and their friends Yoshi, Toad and (sometimes) Wario.
