Dae-Jung, a sadistic gangster, becomes obsessed with Kang Min Joon after discovering he was the one who betrayed him. He replaces his original muse, Ca Min-Jee, with Min Joon and goes to extreme lengths, even having her executed by his brother before having him killed too. Dae-Jung justifies his actions with his interest in philosophy and astronomy. Upon returning to Seoul, he becomes determined to dominate the city and make Min Joon his partner. To achieve this, he kidnaps Min Joon's therapist, Ji-Kyoung, and manipulates him into remembering his trauma with Mr. Robot.
