In the new timeline, Lord Liu Kang and the combatants met up with Aether, Lumine, Klee, Hu Tao, Nahida, Raiden Shogun, and others. They would like to unite with them as friends. He wanted them to participate in the latest Mortal Kombat tournament set in Outworld, join him as allies, become a guardian hero/heroine, protect him, save Earthrealm, fight the enemies like the greatest warrior, and stop Titan Quan Chi, Titan Shang Tsung, and others. After they defeated Titan Shang Tsung and his armies, Lord Liu Kang became an emperor. He brought them into his dragon palace and stayed with them as the Dragon palace was built. However, Lord Liu Kang, the combatants, and the Guardians of Teyvat will become friends. They would like to stay with them together and defend Earthrealm.
