Synopsis

A retelling of the events of MKII but as a modern live-action film with a few twists. FLASHBACKS: - Noob Saibot (Quan Chi revives Bi-Han and tells him to kill Scorpion as a way to tie loose ends as Scorpion is now Kuai Liang's protector.) - Sub-Zero (The LK Grandmaster names Kuai Liang as Bi-Han's successor, surrounded by Smoke, Cyrax and Sektor.)

  • modwave2009 Our fighters from the first film are thrust into a strange new world run by the tyrannical Shao Kahn, and discover that Shang Tsung's island was just the beginning of the twisted tournament... Kung Lao, Kuai Liang and Jax follow the footsteps of their comrades and also end up here. Sonya and Kano are abducted and held captive. Scorpion almost kills Kuai Liang before he explains his brother was his murderer, not him, and convinces Hanzo to join forces with him. The same shadowy Netherrealm sorcerer that restored Hanzo does the same to Bi-Han, instructing him to hunt down his killer. Liu Kang has a fight with one of the Kahn's daughters Kitana, Raiden tells her about the existence of Mileena, prompting her and her friend Jade to turn to Earthrealm's side. Eventually, Liu Kang defeats the Outworld threats and kills Kintaro, Shao's protector. Shao Kahn loses to Liu Kang as well and is presumably killed, although Raiden senses he is still alive...
