A sequel to the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie, a year has passed since the events of the previous installment. Cole and the rest of the team, joined by famous Hollywood actor Johnny Cage, must face a new threat. Shao Kahn wants to invade Earthrealm. He is accompanied by his wife Sindel and his foster daughter-Princess Kitana who decides to help the Earthrealm warriors.
