Synopsis

Monsters vs. Aliens 2 takes place 5 years later after the events of the first film. They spent their days fighting off menacing aliens and other supernatural beings to save the Earth. They were even forced to work with other aliens (in this case, it’s the aliens from the TV show: Coverton, Sta’abi, Squeep and Vornicarn) to defeat evil aliens. But their biggest challenge yet was about to faced: a massive alien invasion that was going to take place in Los Angeles California as their focal center.

Description of Professor Melissa Grasshopper:

Melissa is a science professor at M.I.T who was Jason’s teacher. She is also studying alien elements which she teacher in her classes. She takes a grasshopper to run some tests and the elements went berserk because of its incompatibility, the grasshopper got killed in the process and it’s artificial genes infected Melissa and it turned her into a mutant grasshopper herself.
