Sonic's wild-styled brother. Being one of three triplets growing up, Manic always considered himself a member of the best trio on Mobius, or at the very least the most "extreme". Like his brother, Manic possesses a powerful spin move that enables him to travel at supersonic speeds, however it is in no comparison to Sonic himself. During Robotnik's siege of Mobius, Manic along with his two siblings became separated during the escape, as such he was forced to live in squalor for a time, spending the next few years learning the ways of the streets and evading patrolling robots, eventually becoming on of the best pickpockets to ever live. Eventually, upon learning that their brother was alive, Sonic and his sister, Sonia eventually tracked Manic down in one of Robotnik's prison cells, narrowly rescuing him from being robotisized. After their reunion, though he was reluctant at first, Manic soon joined the Freedom Fighters, utilizing his knowledge of the city's underground in order to gain crucial intel for his new team.
