Synopsis

The movie takes place after the first Avengers film and shows tha origins story of Hank Pym's Ant-Man. He invented the Pym-particles which gave him the ability to change his size and became as small as an ant is. The story is about Pym who tries to save his creation from corrupt businessman Elijah Starr who wants to sell it to terrorist organizations. Janet Van Dyne joined to Hank because she wants to avenge his father's death, who was Pym's mentor. Together they fought against Starr and his forces to save the world.

Description of Elijah Starr ("Egghead"):

Elijah Starr is a ruthless businessman and the CEO of Starrcorp. He finances the experiments of Dr. Van Dyne and Hank Pym but after Pym discovers the size-changing Pym-Particles, Starr wants to get his hands on them. After Hank refuses to sold him his discovery, Elijah kills Dr. Van Dyne. Then he hires mercenaries like Crossfire and Ghost to kill Ant-Man and stole his tech. In the end it is revealed that Starr is working for Hydra. His comic alterego "Egghead" is a running joke and a nickname as he is called by Hank Pym
