In 2070, in a now futuristic Spain, the advanced robotics company Medropola is launching a new prototype of a female android. To test it perfectly, the owner and founder of Medropola, Mr. Anguillo Medropola Jr (Antonio Banderas) brings the only prototype, Chica (Esther Acebo) to his villa. Soon, however, things begin to get complicated and the two fall in love with each other and soon Anguillo makes a big promise to Chica. A promise that unfortunately he will never be able to keep.
