In the future the biggest VR world wide platform is created. It is the most realistic and uncanny virtual world ever to exist. So real that the very fabric of reality starts bend, eventually this causes and event dubbed The Merge where the AIs in the VR world entered the real world. Now, they live umong humans but discrimination is very present. Even though they legally have their own laws and rights they are looked down upon. Miquela is a young AI woman that works as a model and DJ, meets a young human man named Will and they hit it off.
