No one knows where The Outsider came from, not even The Outsider himself. One day, he simply appeared in a remote village with no memory of how he got there. His clothes, his mannerisms, and even the way he speaks make it clear that he isn't from any known kingdom. Some believe he was sent by the gods. Others think he's cursed. A few whisper that he should never have existed in this world at all. Despite being a complete stranger, the village welcomes him. When the Dominion Tournament is announced, they choose him as their champion, believing that perhaps fate brought him to them for a reason. The Outsider doesn't seek glory, wealth, or salvation. He enters the tournament because he has nowhere else to go—and because the people who took him in are placing their hopes in him.
