A few months before Peter Parker's death, a young boy named Miles Morales was bitten by a radioactive spider made by Oscorp before Norman's experiment that turned him into Green Goblin. After Miles witnesses Peter's death firsthand, and with some push from his best friend, he takes up the mantle of Spider-Man to avenge Peter's death and honor his legacy.
