Synopsis

Special Forces Unit FOXHOUND and a group of renegade terrorists take over a nuclear weapons facility in Alaska. Holding a secret super weapon that can change the world, the government tasks Solid Snake to stop the terrorists at all costs. But Snake discovers much more to this plot than it seems, including a top secret project involving legendary super solider, Big Boss, and a government conspiracy... Spoilers in the character descriptions!

Description of Metal Gear REX:

The machine that starts the whole situation. This Metal Gear is different than the other Metal Gear. It's weapons are a vulcan canon, a laser and a rail gun, that fires missiles at high velocities to make them undetectable by radar. It's radar happens to be it's weak spot, but can it be destroyed?
