Gregory's big sis Vanessa has been incarcerated at the Pescadero State Hospital for her violent, fanatical efforts to prevent "Judgment Day"—the prophesied events of August 29, 2023, when Skynet will gain sentience and, in response to its creators' attempts to deactivate it, incite a nuclear holocaust. Gregory, taken in by his foster parents, considers Vanessa's beliefs to be delusional and resents her efforts to prepare him for his future role. Meggy T-800 and T-1000 Nightmare Bonnie converge on Gregory and the Glamrock Animatronics in a shopping mall and a chase ensues. Gregory, Meggy T-800, and the Glamrock Animatronics escape together. Gregory calls to warn his foster parents but Meggy T-800 deduces the T-1000 Nightmare Bonnie has already killed them. Realizing Meggy T-800 is programmed to obey him, Greogry and the Glamrock Animatronics forbid it from killing people and order it to save Vanessa from T-1000 Nightmare Bonnie.
