With Metro Man retired from being Metro City's superhero, Megamind becomes the new hero. Out of nowhere, a supervillain team invades Metro City and terrorizes all of its citizens. When Metro Man sees this, he knows he has to don the cape once again. So now Megamind and Metro Man have to team up to stop the Doom Syndicate from destroying Metro City.
