The multiversal war that was mentioned in Loki is revealed to be happening in the future instead of the past as Immortus and the unified Council of Kangs kick-off a multiversal war that would see Immortus emerge victorious. The Kangs will legitimately team-up to take over the Multiverse and attempt to destroy the Sacred Timeline due to false suspicions of the Avengers' domination of the multiverse. It is up to the Avengers and their new allies in Earth-838 to stop them.
