In response to the Knight’s arrival as the first public superhero in years, the young hero faces veteran villains seeking that lost thrill of the chase, as well as new players. In addition, the Knight’s true identity, young comic book artist Jacob Howard, reunites with his old friend Erin Walters, who becomes his coworker as a writer. Margot Bishop investigates mysterious energies around the city, bringing her to the mysterious Hitchcock Enterprises. Finally, the Creature finds itself trapped in a mysterious prison of malleable reality, where he has contact only with an ambiguous woman who wants to understand him.
